I’ve always been into the Blues. I used to go and watch Clapton play with the Yardbirds in the early ’60s and was always a big John Mayall Fan. I loved the folky blues of Jackson Frank and more recently I’ve been really influenced by Dr John on the Piano style.
So it was a real privilege to be invited to go and play with a local band, Blues Business at the Himalayan Blues Festival in Katmandu in October 2009. Here’s a video clip taken by New Zealand documentary maker Costa Botes of the band in action at the Garden of Dreams in Katmandu.
